We understand that buying original artwork over the net can be a scary business. Rest assured that we have been trading since 1999 and can answer any questions you may have. Here are a few common ones - if your question isn't answered here, just contact us.

Does it come with a frame?

If your artwork is framed it will say so in the description. Unframed works always look good just as they are - just hang it as it is. Sometimes you may want to add a frame and we’re happy to offer advice and share our list of recommended framers.

Can I view before I buy?

We have an office/studio at the wonderful Southwark Studios complex near London Bridge station. We can arrange viewings at this location. It is easy and free to park at the studios. If you are coming by public transport we are more than happy to meet you at London Bridge station.

What are the advantages of buying before viewing?

One of the joys of receiving original artworks is that they are so much better ‘in real life’ than any image over the net can convey. By buying from the website you will be able to have your chosen artwork delivered to your door and you can prop it up in your chosen location. Much better than an artificial gallery setting.

How does delivery work?

All artwork is professionally packed and fully insured before it goes out. If you live somewhere where we can make a personal delivery to your door we’ll discuss what day and time suits you best. If you live further afield we’ll ensure that the artwork gets to you as quickly as possible, either by conventional premium post or a trackable courier service. Sometimes we rely on one of our trusty ‘man with a van’. In all cases we will keep you informed of when to expect delivery, bearing in mind that we will need your signature on receipt. We can also deliver to an office address if this is more convenient.

If you live outside Mainland UK we’ll discuss the best option before despatch. If you’ve purchased more than one artwork they may arrive separately.

How much does delivery cost?

All prices on the site include delivery to Mainland UK destinations. However, we'll deliver anywhere worldwide - just contact us and we'll work something out.

What do you mean, it’s already sold?

Sometimes we sell limited edition prints and the print run is popular and no more are available. Everything else we sell is a unique work of art, so when it's gone, it's gone. We try to keep the website up to date, but we are human and sometimes we have an exhibition to put on or a holiday to take. If your enquiry is met with the disappointing news that your artwork has already sold we’ll let you have first option on the next available work from your favourite artist.

What if I don’t like it?

All of our Mainland UK customers are covered by our hassle-free refund policy. If you are not completely happy just give us a call within 7 days of receipt and we will arrange collection and a full refund, as long as you’ve handled it with care. For more, see our fine print.

How else can I see an artist's work?

We regularly attend Fine Art Fairs. Keep an eye on our News page or subscriber to our mailing list (there's a box on the right) to receive information about fairs we're attending, as well as regular complimentary ticket offers.

Do your artists work to commission?

Yes they do! Commissioning an original artwork is a surprisingly easy and satisfying option. Contact us and let us know what you’d like to achieve.
