We're just beginning to collect together the new paintings from our best selling London born-and-bred artist Mick Dean.

Mick's been in the pub again, dreaming of his holidays in the South of France, as you can see from the new works. Never one to shrink from profound investigative methodology, Mick has captured beautifully the fall of light in both locations. The Holly Bush, Hampstead, offers a truly unique painting by Mick - it has people in it! Mick usually implies human occupation, so this painting is a real departure for him. Perhaps he's mellowing.
