Alternative Investments
There is a huge range of art to invest in, so focus on the area that appeals to you. Kay Austin, director of New British Artists, says:
"If speculating on modern art you have to get in early, before the artist is well known. Buy for the wow factor, not because the artist has been tipped as the next big thing. If it proves a good investment
as well treat that as a bonus."

Reviews of 'Precession' by Tim White
"At first glance they appear empty, inhuman places devoid of warmth or emotion, but there is a mysterious depth to the pictures brought about by White's patient technique"
"There is a commanding purity to his photographs.....White feels part of the grand tradition from Turner to Barnett Newman who have attempted to record nature in its purest form"

Reviews of 'Emerge' exhibition by Tom Moore
"Moore's paintings draw you in, past the foreground 'interventions' to what lies behind. Images emerge from the far distance......the public doesn't appear to have been deterred by the bold canvases on display - several bear the sold red dot."
David Whetstone, Newcastle Journal
"Two hundred people packed in to the venue to preview Tom's remarkable work...his landscapes have faint echoes of past masters such as Turner and Monet..."
Paul Myles-Kelly, Newcastle Gazette
"Moore has a passion for oil painting and the world around him...he explores our perceived notions of beauty using an implied glimpse or movement through a landscape."
