Brian Palmer - Biography

Brian Palmer is a renaissance man. After a very successful career heading his own advertising company (he made the first ever TV commercial – for Gibbs SR Toothpaste) he then ‘retired’ to spend more time as a painter-printmaker and writer-poet.

The prints you see are part of Brian’s extensive ‘Lifelines’ works, of which there are presently 55 and undoubtedly more to come. Brian’s irrepressible take on life is shown with great humour, and occasional naughtiness, in these large, hand-tinted dry point etchings. The poems and sayings are also Brian’s.

Simply constructed, they nevertheless capture the nature of Life, Love, The Universe and Everything.
