From the artist
My compositions display both a sense of depth and space. I incorporate contrasting elements consisting of smooth serene areas juxtaposed with dense and textured layers of paint. My paintings are primarily abstract but by drawing inspiration from both rural and urban landscape they often suggest a familiar sense of place.
