"Our perception of the visual world suggests that it is full of ambiguities. Within ourselves and from one to another, descriptions of what we see create a rich variety of interpretations of both the meaning and content of a visual experience. If we overlay this experience with imagination, the potential for creative interpretation is vast.
My interest, through the medium of drawing, painting and photography, is to communicate a personal reaction to the visual world which invites the viewer to accept, alter or complete the apparent narrative. As the producer of the work I have no monopoly over its meaning. By creative use of a visual language I hope to suggest a range of possibilities."
