I established New British Artists in 1999 when all things ‘net’ were new and sexy. Venture Capitalists were keen to offer bundles of money for a slice of the pie. However, my view has always been that original art is a thing of beauty and not a ‘cheap as chips’ commodity to be traded like an indifferent CD.
We love our artists. We know our artists and their work, their home lives, their highs and lows. We like to encourage. Sometimes we even get mad at them! But at the end of the day we hope to keep them employed as artists and prevent their formidable talents being wasted away in 9 - 5 jobs. We keep the number of artists we represent small and manageable so that you can benefit from our in depth knowledge and be confident of a high level of attention to detail in all your dealings with us.
Our greatest joy is the delight in the eyes of those purchasing their first original work of art, and we hum with pleasure when you come back for more. We're also not averse to the odd challenge - we like to place art in public spaces, hospitals, restaurants, company headquarters and... well, just about anywhere. Please call, we're here to help.
